Keystroke Jack Foot Pedal to USB Keyboard Adapter Overview
Connect a foot pedal or switch to this device's 3.5mm stereo phone jack, plug the device into a computer, and you have yourself a programmable custom mini-keyboard, just like our Keystroke Pedal. Choose a key or key combination before you buy, or change it later. Most sustain pedals made for piano-style electronic keyboards have a built-in cord with a standard 1/4" wide (6.3mm) mono phone plug. The Keystroke Jack accepts any 1/8" wide (3.5mm) mono or stereo phone plug. Use a standard adapter, such as our 1/4" to 1/8" (3.5mm) adapter, to make the connection. Note that the Keystroke Jack is both wider and thicker than a standard USB cable. If there isn't room to plug it directly into a USB port without blocking adjacent ports, you may prefer to use a standard USB extension cable, such as our USB 2.0 A male to A female extension cable.
